Pleaser Flamingo 1020 review

I would like to start this post by apologizing for the long silence in here, if you do not follow me here on Instagram (how come?), back in August 2018 I had an accident and broke my left hand, and sprained both my right hand and my left ankle, the whole thing was a rather messy affair and took quite some time to heal (I am actually still doing physiotherapy)  and as such I have been avoiding anything that would add any extra stress to my hands and wrists, including writing.
I do have quite a few posts waiting to be written and I am hoping that I will be able to slowly get back to blogging, although I think I might need to space them out into monthly posts (rather than weekly ones).

Meanwhile I was taking my long break from writing and poling, I received a beautiful pair of Pleaser boots for my birthday, I had been wanting this pair in particular for quite some time, therefore I think you can imagine my excitement when I get home and have these sitting by my door.

I am not quite sure where from these were purchased as they were a present, however Pole Junkie does sell these.

This particular model is made of faux (or vegan) leather, the heel height is about 8 inch (20.3 cm), platform height is about 4 inches (10.2cm), it closes it a full length front lacing, as well as an inside zip closure to make everything easier. (If you like, you can get the exact same model in PVC vinyl)

The boots are really comfortable and easy to walk in and because they are over the ankle, they do offer some extra ankle support. After my accident, wearing any kind of heels was rather painful, but these didn't hurt me at all.

I most note that the laces never stay in place, they keep coming off, they have these hooks that do look pretty, but as soon as you take the boots, the laces come off. If you don't mind having to lace the boots each time, then you'll be fine, I'd rather not have to, but as I said, it is truly a minor thing. (See below a close up picture of the hooks)

Few cons with Pleaser boots:
- Way too expensive
- Short life expectancy if you plan on poling with these

My overall opinion about these boots; they are comfortable, offer great support for your ankles, and last but not least, these boots are the BOMB! they look stunning, and will make you look and feel like a bad bitch!

I've also filmed a short clip of me walking in them, just to give you an idea of what they look like:

Hope you've enjoyed this post :)
